Leadership scale 3-7 dependant on experience. 

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join Bledlow Ridge School as Deputy Headteacher from September 2022. We are looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Deputy Headteacher to join our new Headteacher. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and learning and will have a vision and strategic insight for delivering high outcomes for all children.

About the Role

The successful candidate will demonstrate and lead excellent teaching and take responsibility, with the headteacher, for school improvement. They will assist the Headteacher in the management, organisation and development of the school, in order to achieve the highest possible standards of teaching and learning and will assume the duties of the Headteacher in her absence. They will also support the further development of effective communication strategies with parents to enable them to engage most effectively with the work of the school and its aspirations for pupils’. 

 

Other prominent roles of the position will involve helping to facilitate high quality professional development for staff, working with the headteacher on monitoring of standards, continuing to foster a culture of high achievement, but also where interpersonal and emotional literacy are recognised as having high importance and above all, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the pupils at all times.
